Welcome! I’m Sarah from over at The Project Pile! This year I’m really, really hoping that we get a ton of snow! I’ve tried to make my tree very snowy-looking in order to help inspire our first snowfall! (I’m still waiting!)

I’ve added white fluffy feathers, teeny-tiny snowballs, big white Christmas balls, and lots of red and sparkly snowflakes! That should totally work, right?!

  1. Hello. Well, I think the concept was wonderful. However, as a viewer with little time to enjoy each individual blog what I would have preferred and maybe something to think about for the “Second Annual. . . ” is a video slide or a clickable slide with close-ups of each Blogger’s tree and then if the viewer wanted more information on “that” tree we had the option of clicking and then being taken to their blog for the details. To click on the first tree (click here) and then to be taken to a page with all the little thumbnails having to click and pull up each blog took far too much time I got to the fourth tree and needed to leave. I would love to see each tree larger so I didn’t have to click and enter that blog unless I really wanted to. And to clarify the screen I work on is 35″ so the thumbnails are about inch and half they aren’t small like on a cell phone but still too small to enjoy without clicking and entering the specific blog. Otherwise great idea and I hope to have the time to come back to view the rest. I look forward to seeing if you create a better format for next year.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL THE PARTICIPANTS!!!
And thank you for participating and sharing your creative ideas!
