This recipe can be made with or without crust. Both ways turn out great! If I’m feeling ambitious I will make it with crust… if I am not feeling that ambitious or if I’m just a little short on time, I will make it without the crust.
Oh man… I get so excited when it’s time to go shopping at Costco!!! I have to be very, very careful though… I’m one of those people who buys everything that I see! And my husband, well he’s not even allowed to shop there anymore, ever since the instance where he bought over $500 worth in blue paper towels! What the what??!! (Yep – that happened!)
I’ve now managed to put together a pretty solid system so I can now very efficiently and effectively shop at Costco, without getting into trouble!

I collected a few pieces of beautiful, authentic barn board some time ago from my parents’ farm and it took me a really long time to figure out what to do with them…
One ended up as a sign to use in pictures for my sister’s gorgeous old-world-style wedding.
I used another piece to make my DIY painted flower box. (Which you can check out right, here!)
That left me with one final piece from the farm, and after a while, I finally came up with the perfect idea – a pretty set of hooks… you know, for hanging stuff! Like hats and purses… or even Christmas stockings!Continue reading →
