The Best Trick for Slicing or Dicing Avocados!

The Best Trick for Slicing or Dicing Avocados!

This is a quick and easy trick used for slicing or dicing an avocado, without even getting your hands dirty! Meal preparation time will be cut in half, and working with avocados just got even easier!

Did you know that there is actually a really nifty little trick to slicing, or even dicing an avocado?! I had no idea until I learned this awesome secret at a yummy cooking class that my husband and I attended. This class took place quite a few years ago, but I’ve been using this trick ever since, and I’ve been dying to share it with you for so long!

[Here’s another neat trick that I learned from the same cooking class!]

The first thing that you need to do is slice your avocado in half, and remove the pit. Then take your knife and slice, or dice your avocado inside of the shell.

After you are finished this 2 second task, give your avocado a little squeeze to loosen up the sections.

Next, all you have to do is scrape your avocado sections out with a spoon!

This trick works great for slicing up an avocado to snack on, but I really like to use it if I’m making a salad that uses avocados, or especially for my guacamole recipe… Dicing it up first makes it super easy to mash, hence making my guacamole extra smooth and yummy!
