This is a really, really simple roller-ball essential oils recipe! It’s blended mix of minty and soothing oils really helps to calm sore and achy muscles, as well as provide a very soft and relaxing scent to help de-stress at the same time!
Essential oils still seem to be all of the rage, these days! Have you tried them before? Do they actually work?! Well, I finally decided to find out for myself, and I must say that so far, I am really impressed!
Once in a while I get really stiff, sore and achy muscles in my neck and shoulders, so I decided that for my first essential oils recipe, I would create a very easy, sore and achy muscle relief blend!
Of course I had to try it out as soon as it was mixed, and dare I say, it was amazing! Not only does the blend sooth your aching muscles, but it also has a really calm and soothing scent. It’s like a total win-win situation!
It’s especially great for right after the gym or right before bed, as well as any old time that you are feeling stiff or achy.
For this recipe, I used a 10 ml sized roller-ball bottle, which definitely has a couple of great benefits:
- It’s small enough to fit in your purse, gym bag, or even your pocket
- The roller-ball applicator can be used to massage your muscles while applying it, which is def a bonus!
The special oil that is used for this recipe is know as Blue Heat. Blue Heat is is a pre-blended oil that contains wintergreen, peppermint, camphor, German chamomile blue, and osmanthus absolute. I love this pre-blended oil, because it really helps to simplify this amazing recipe and makes it super quick and easy to whip up!
Sore and Achy Muscle Relief Essential Oils Recipe
- 10 drops of Blue Heat Essential Oil
- 10 ml of Sweet Almond Carrier Oil
Add the above portions into your roller-ball bottle, shake it up, and you are ready to go. Apply as needed, and enjoy!
The essential oils that I used for this recipe are from the PURE essential oil line. These oils are put through nine different purity tests, so I know that I am using top quality. These oils do however, need to be purchased directly, so if you are interested in this line, just click the this link! As an added bonus, I also find that the PURE oils cost a lot less than those provided by other manufacturers.
