This luxurious, sweet smelling, three-ingredient milk bath will leave your mind & body feeling calm and soothed, and leave your skin feeling fresh and silky-smooth! It also works great for providing relief to skin pain or itch caused by sunburn, bug bites, and even poison ivy.
The best part about it, is that you can easily whip up this cinnamon vanilla milk bath in less than 5 minutes, using ingredients that almost any family household is guaranteed to have in stock!
All you need is:
- 2 cups of Milk
- 1 tbsp of Vanilla Extract
- 2 tsp of Cinnamon
Step One: Add all ingredients into your mason jar.
Step Two: Fasten lid tightly, and shake, shake, shake!

Do you use powdered milk or just normal milk?
Hi Taylor! I used regular 2% milk for this recipe… I don’t know much about powdered milk, so I can’t tell you if it had the same nutrients… I would assume so, though! 🙂
I just found this on Pinterest and my 6 year old daughter has been sick with a stomach bug so I fixed this up for her and called her in for a bath. She LOVED it. 😀

Thank you, she is better, but our entire family has had it. Of course, I got it last and am very thankful they are at school today do I can recuperate. I’ll be fixing a milk bath for myself pretty soon. 🙂

Can you let this sit or does it have to be used right away? I’m thinking as a gift so I don’t want it to go bad when I give it to her
Hi Jenifer! I think this would be ok if kept in the fridge, but probably for only 3 or 4 days… But, if you wanted to make a gift out of it, you could use dehydrated milk instead! 🙂
Do you need to keep this in the fridge?
I’ve heard the cinnamon is bad for your skin. Like it can literally burn your skin. I could be wrong but that does make me worry about this recipe.
