Did you know that there is a trick that you can use to ripen your fruits and vegetables overnight?! I had never heard of this trick before, until the last time my wonderful grandma came to visit me!
We went to one of the local fresh farmer’s markets in town and picked up some yummy peaches… When we got back home, my grandma mentioned that if I wanted my peaches to ripen quicker, then I needed to do this one little, amazing trick!
All you need is your fruit, or vegetable…
And a brown paper bag…
That’s it! It’s really so easy!
Then all you need to do, is place your fruit or vegetable inside of the brown paper bag…
Next roll the brown paper bag closed, and then leave it to sit over night!
The next morning, your fruit or vegetables will be totally ripened! Umm, seriously… How did I not ever know about this before?! Like for realz — Thank you so much Grandma!

This is the best trick for people who love to eat ripe fruits. Whenever I buy raw fruits, I wait 2-3 or more days to let it come in eatable form. But this trick will be really helpful, thanks for sharing!!

That’s a pretty cool trick especially if you’re going to be eating the fruits and veggies the next day. I can’t believe I never thought about doing this one before!
Why does the bag have to be brown? I don’t understand. I usually leave the fruits and vegetable out for the night and/or next day on a plate or a fruit bowl to make ripe. Thanks for this tip though, I’ll give it a try.
I freeze my avocados all the time! I usually only eat half of one at a time and my husband doesn’t eat them so I freeze the other half to use in smoothies!
That is exactly what I do when I want to eat my avocados in a hurry. it seriously works too
