Simple Canvas Prints (An honest review!)

Affordable Museum-Quality Canvas Prints with Simple Canvas Prints!

I recently had the opportunity to review a canvas print, from the company Simple Canvas Prints. It was really hard to decide what I wanted to put on my canvas print, but ultimately, my husband and I decided that we would like to do a print with our beautiful girls, since we really didn’t have any of them both together, hanging on our walls yet.

In order to create the perfect photo for our new canvas print, Miss Lacee Grace, Miss Soffia Rose, and I decided to have a little tea party, where I could snap some shots with my camera. Continue reading

10 Pretty and Eclectic DIY Benches!

10 Pretty and Eclectic DIY Benches! Find the perfect bench for all of your benching needs!

Today we are talking all about benches! If you were able to tune in earlier this month, you may have caught my post on my DIY bench made from a head-board and foot-board…

I found this bed set at a thrift store for about fifteen dollars, over two years ago, in hopes of making a bench out of it… But with life and stuff (working, momming, snowmobiling and fishing), it just sat around in The Project Pile, for practically, forever. Well until this month, that is!

I finally dug the bones for that bench out and had at’er! I was so happy and excited with how it turned out, I kind of feel like I want to make another one, and another one… and another one!

That’s how I decided to take a look at some other bloggers’ ideas and projects, and let me tell you, there really are a lot of neat DIY benches out there!

It was a little bit tough, but I was able to narrow down all of these great ideas to my top ten favorite. Some are so pretty, some are so eclectic, some are rustic, and some are fancy… Basically, what I’m trying to say is, that there is a bench for everyone on this list, no matter what your tastes are! Magic Tile and Grout Cleaner!

Magic Tile and Grout Cleaner!

Where we live, we are on well water, and let me tell you, our water is very, very rich in iron! It’s supposed to be pretty healthy for us to drink, so that’s good, but when it comes to cleaning, it’s just ridiculous!
Our sinks, tubs, toilets and showers are always turning orange on us. Even when it comes to laundry, our whites will sometimes actually come out with orange spots on them, especially our white towels!
All though I have pretty much given up on keeping our white laundry white, I have found some pretty good hacks for when it comes to cleaning up the orange left on everything else! Continue reading
